Challenge and Implementation
Before the development of the web application, Schmitt Stahlbau had difficulties managing and monitoring industrial large-scale projects. Previously, individual Access databases were maintained and constantly adapted to new customer requirements, leading to an inefficient and time-consuming process. The goal of the development was to create a customized solution that is dynamically configurable yet intuitive to operate.
The dynamic creation of project templates now allows for very flexible adjustments. Invoices, delivery notes, labels, and the stored data can be configured to meet the requirements of each project. In addition, previously created templates can be reused for new projects, resulting in maximum efficiency. The new web application has thus helped to simplify and optimize the administrative process of industrial large-scale projects at Schmitt Stahlbau.
